fairytale in the orchid
As if their engagements weren’t beautiful enough, Stephanie’s even more beautiful in a wedding dress. The bridal session was originally supposed to take place at the wedding’s reception. But from the venue’s garden, we could see an orchid not too far away. We didn’t exactly know who it belonged to, or where it was exactly located, or even if we could take photos there, but we decided to travel towards it anyways.
There was also a vintage playground setup across the street… we took some photos there too. We’re sure the owners didn’t mind. In our defense, we couldn’t find anyone to ask permission. It was quite the adventure with this beautiful real-life Disney princess for her bridals.

I cannot express how beautiful this bride is. I say she’s a real-life version of a Disney princess, and even that might not be enough. Stephanie just has this glow that just spills out of her. I honestly don’t think my photos did her beauty justice.

This is probably the only photo where Stephanie didn’t smile. And that was only because I specifically asked her to “smile with her eyes” … whatever that means. Most people will tell you they feel so uncomfortable smiling into the camera, but Stephanie couldn’t help but smile.

The orchid that served as the backdrop for Stephanie’s bridal session was a complete accident. We started the session at Wadley Farms, the intended location. After a few shots, we noticed a field of blooming trees across the farm, not too far away. So naturally, we went on an adventure to find it. We found it—and the convenient little playground near it as well.
