night-lite wedding dance

Take a look back at their engagements and Stephanie’s bridals! The day started at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple in American Fork, Utah for the sealing and then Stephanie’s and Tyler’s wedding reception was held at Wadley Farm, and it was absolutely stunning. The bride, the dress, the groom, the colors, everything just fitted together perfectly. Hands down, the most tearful moment was during the father/daughter dance. I’m telling you right now, that dance gets to me every day. There’s something so special, brave, and almost nerve-wreaking about the exact moment when the father hands his daughter’s hand into the hands of another man. I love Utah weddings. They make me cry.

I don’t think the families of the bride and groom get much credit from wedding photographers—and I think they should. Both Stephanie’s and Tyler’s families were so sweet and kind to me through the entire wedding day. Always making sure I wasn’t too tired, always offering food and water, always checking on me. But the biggest credit the families should be getting isn’t being kind of the photographer, it’s being there—whole-heartedly—for the bride and groom.
