first looks at the city library
As a Utah wedding photographer, despite all the bridals and wedding day photography, I’ve never actually done a first-look! Juli and Ryan were my first first-look!
I was with Ryan the few minutes before Juli walked over to him, and he was the definition of excited. Ryan wasn’t nervous to see Juli—he definitely wanted to see his bride. And no one can blame him—she looked gorgeous! I’m so glad I was able to be photograph such a special moment.
This bridal session was originally planned for outdoors. But if Salt Lake City is anything, it’s unpredictable when it comes to its weather. Water came pouring down just a few minutes before the session started. So instead of on the Library’s lawn, we took the adventure inside and between its shelves of books.
When though the location was last minute, I really do think it fitted great for who this couple is. Not to say these two are bookworms, by any means (although, maybe they are.) But from the time that I got to spend with Juli and Ryan, I picked up that these two are old souls. Full of spirit, but wise.
