aunt’s house – holladay, utah wedding photographer

cozy family wedding

I, unfortunately, didn’t photograph Megan and Rick’s engagements and bridals. But I was very honored to have had the privilege to be their Utah wedding photographer.

First, a shoutout to the beautiful bride and her gorgeous dress… because every bride needs to know how beautiful she looked on the day. Second, it was a beautiful wedding. The reception didn’t take place at a typical wedding venue. Quite frankly, I was a little confused pulling up to a normal neighbor home; I had never photographed a wedding in someone’s backyard before. My first thought was, “I wonder how small this wedding’s going to be.” Small was definitely not a word used to describe the location once you went past the front doors. I can only describe it as a small park behind a gorgeous house… grapevine and all. It was intimate and filled with love, as weddings should be.

When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.- Ansel Adams
